2009 Yamaha Majesty Motorcycle Review
The 2009 Yamaha Majesty has finally arrived. For a smaller, less powerful, scooter this bad boy exhibits plenty of power, style, and smarts. If you are ready to purchase a great European scooter, then you should definitely check out the 2009 Yamaha Majesty. It is affordable, cool, and gets a desirable fuel mileage for any economy. The yamaha motorcycle parts used to form this light weight Euro-scoot are both reliable and DOT approved.
The great thing about the Yamaha Majesty is not only its 395cc liquid-cooling, automatic transmission, but it also has the ergonomics of a fully-sized motorcycle, with about sixteen gallons of storage. Though scooters are typically made for easy to ride town roads and not highways, the Majesty will definitely prove trustworthy on those winding back roads as well. This bike is heavy enough to endure highway speeds. That’s right! This scooter is not just for those college students who need to stroll around campus. The Yamaha Majesty can get you from your country home to the city office in a comfortable and relaxing matter.
All the majestic power performed by this bike is enabled through a 395cc liquid-cooled four-stroke single which features dual overhead camshafts as well as four valves. The V-belt final drive included makes this scooter just about maintenance free. Likewise, the electronic fuel injector and digital ignition setup makes starting your bike a piece of cake. The frame of this scooter is made of die-cast aluminum making it rigid but super light weight. The brakes consist of 267 mm discs in both the front and the back. This makes braking fast and reliable. Even with all of it’s torque, the Majesty gets about 50 miles to the gallon. It is both environmentally and economically just.

Regardless if you have a new or old Suzuki , then you certainly need to get a Suzuki motorcycle cover. If you get tricked into buying a generic cover that says it will any motorcycle, you are going to find that it does not cover the bike as much as it should be.
Now the worse thing that you could end up doing is not to get a Suzuki motorcycle cover for your bike, but the next worse thing is to get some cheap plastic cover and here are the why -

RAM Mounting Systems RAM-B-149Z-GA32U Handlebar Mount for Garmin Nuvi 500 and 550
Easy to install, holds GPS securely
I installed this on the roll cage of my Yamaha Rhino. I was using a Garmin suction cup mount but it tended to come loose due to the vibration and jarring when driving the Rhino off road, or even on rough roads. I decided to try this mount instead, Unfortunately even the largest U-bolt was too small for the roll cage tubing so I had to clamp it to one of the hand holds, above the front windshield area. Although, it is not where I hoped to mount it, that is actually not a bad location.
Pros:
* Easy to mount. The whole process took about 5 minutes.
* Holds the GPS securely, even under rough and bouncy conditions.
* Easy to adjust to just the right angle.
* GPS firmly locks to the holder and will not pop out like with some other holders.
Cons:
* As stated before, I wish they had configured this to mount to larger tubing using the supplied hardware. However, this is sold as a motorcycle handlebar mount, not an ATV/UTV mount, so I guess I shouldn’t complain.
* It is hard to clamp the GPS onto the mount with a 12v DC power cable already attached. I’ve learn the hard way, that to avoid damaging the USB connector you should attach the cable after mounting the unit. In the location I have this mounted, this is kind of a pain.
Excelent product
Excelent product. I purchased this mount for my Nuvi 550 GPS for a trip to Key West,Fla. from Florence,SC and back.
I am very happy with the mount. The mount held my GPS securely for the entire trip and never required any position readjustment. It came with 2 different sizes of the mounting u-bolts, handy since my handle bars are larger than the stock bars. I added some heat shrink tubing to the u-bolt to prevent any scratches to the handle bars, in case I want to move or remove the mount. I recommend this mount to any rider wanting to travel with a GPS as an addition to their trusty map.

2 Reasons to Use Motorcycle Trailer Rentals
No one likes to be unprepared, nor do we like our possessions anything less then fully protected. Motorcycle trailer rentals can give you the best of both worlds. Whether you are moving to a different state or going to Sturgis, motorcycle trailer rentals can make the trip far more enjoyable. Motorcycle trailer rentals can give you convenience, and peace of mind.
Reason 1 — You are moving, motorcycle trailer rentals for transport
A trip across the country on your dream motorcycle may sound like a dream vacation, but for the sake of your motorcycle, you may want to stash your ride. Riding across country can really wear on a motorcycle. Dust in the engine and other parts can cause damage, using motorcycle trailer rentals to transport your motorcycle can keep your motorcycle in prime condition. Motorcycle trailer rentals can keep the mileage off the motorcycle, and while this is not a factor in blue book values of motorcycles, the wear on the motorcycle would however affect the motorcycle blue book value. With motorcycle trailer rentals, you can keep your motorcycle safely enclosed on that long move.
Enclosed motorcycle trailer rentals not only keep you from putting the mileage on your motorcycle, but it keeps your motorcycle looking just as great as when you put it in motorcycle trailer rentals. Motorcycle trailer rentals can also make the move more comforting to you, the owner, knowing that you can get your motorcycle safely to your destination, without even a scratch, or a rock hitting your front fender. Knowing that your motorcycle is safe away from vandals in large towns stored in motorcycle trailer rentals can also be comforting. Motorcycle trailer rentals hide the motorcycle away from all harmful substances, objects, and flying insects as well.
Reason 2 — The long trip or the weekend getaway, motorcycle trailer rentals for cargo.
Everyone likes to take a vacation. Everyone likes that weekend fishing trip or camping trip. No one likes to be unprepared. Imagine going five hundred miles from home to find out you left your toothbrush on the kitchen sink. It wouldn’t matter anyway, because that saddlebag was completely filled anyway. Motorcycle trailer rentals can solve all that. Motorcycle trailer rentals allow you to take everything you need for your vacation. Also, motorcycle trailer rentals can give you piece of mind by having a spare tire.
If you plan on camping out, some motorcycle trailer rentals even have a tent attached. Motorcycle trailer rentals that have the tent can sleep one in the top, so you would be off the ground and underneath the tent, there is storage area. Sleeping in your motorcycle trailer rentals, not only offers a built in tent, but also saves on renting a tent or a travel trailer, thus getting two for the price of one. It also offers added storage space. This is so that you don’t have to say, “I’ll just pick it up when I get there.” This saves money as well.
The right motorcycle trailer rentals can save money in gas by being aerodynamic. They also make taking children on the trip much easier. Motorcycle trailer rentals give space, simple as that.
What to Look for in Motorcycle Reviews
When it comes to motorcycle reviews, it’s fairly easy to find them online as they are as numerous as the number of people doing the reviewing. The problem with online (and offline) reviews is that none of them really follow a basic format based on critical issues of purchasing a motorcycle. The other problem that seems to be a common omission with these critiques is that none of them talk about who the particular type of bike is suited for. Everybody’s needs and wants are different, especially when it comes to performance, comfort, power needed, primary use of the bike, and so on.
What you always will find is content about size of the engine, type of engine, horsepower, fuel efficiency, etc. The reviews always have neglected saying what type of user the bike is designed for — and I’m not referring to gender. I’m referring to age group of the individual and what they really need to be looking for. Here’s a list of what should be in motorcycle reviews and rarely is:
- What type of body style is the bike designed to fit?
- A listing of all the options that come standard or are available to add for a price
- How does the particular type of motorcycle relate to the driver’s abilities
- Cost and frequency of repairs (believe it or not, this isn’t always in a review)
- Difficulty factors involved in finding replacement parts
One thing that is always a critical issue is if the bike overwhelms the rider or if the rider is too tall for the bike. It’s a comfort factor first and foremost, but equally as important is the safety issue. If the bike overwhelms the rider, the consequences could be very hazardous to the rider’s health and well-being. An overwhelming bike cannot be handled properly nor controlled properly
Every bike on the market usually has a list of options available, but that list may or may not tell the buyer what is included as standard and what adds to the cost. This is often covered on the price tag, but sometimes there are other options that can be included as standard in place of those that are listed.
Is the rider experienced enough to handle the bike they are thinking about buying, or is the bike going to eventually become boring to the rider?
You got a great deal when you purchased the bike, but what are normal maintenance and repairs going to cost you? Furthermore, what is the frequency of those repairs — infrequent occurrences versus repairs being needed too frequently.
Finally, how difficult is it going to be for you to find replacement parts when you need to perform normal maintenance or make necessary repairs? If that bike is your only means of transportation, and you have to wait two or three weeks for parts in order to do the repairs, you’re in a world of hurt. So you want to make sure that there is never problem being able to repair your bike so you don’t miss any time on the road or at work or both.
3 Reasons to Own Three Wheel Motorcycles
A trike used to be a name we called a toddler learning tricycle, but three wheel motorcycles have changed. The tricycle has grown up and it has become three wheel motorcycles with style. Three wheel motorcycles, or trikes, are quickly becoming a trend among bikers. So why use these three wheel motorcycles?
1. More Stability.
With the added wheel, comes added security and stability. While three wheel motorcycles may have a name that makes them sound like a toddler’s toy, the truth is that three wheel motorcycles have a greatly added advantage in stability. Three wheel motorcycles takes the pressure off the driver to balance the motorcycle, it also takes the fear out of the driver when turning corners and getting down low to the ground. It can be scary coming within inches of touching the ground. The extra wheel can be added to the back or the front. Each one giving the three wheel motorcycles a unique look. But it is not just for looks. Having added stability means three wheel motorcycles are more likely to avoid accidents caused by balance and turns. Because of the position of the three wheel motorcycle wheels, this makes turning corners much safer. It turns almost like a car.
2 Better for passengers and hauling.
Having three wheel motorcycles means it is safer to take passengers. When it is safer for your passengers, we have more willing passengers. Usually parents are extremely worried about the safety of children on traditional motorcycles, but with three wheel motorcycles, there is a much smaller risk of anything happening due to balance and stability. This assists in hauling things too. Three wheel motorcycles have greater advantages in hauling motorcycle trailer units. The third wheel gives it added stability and thus, there is less chance for the trailer unit to pull the three wheel motorcycles down, or the weight be so much that it makes the three wheel motorcycle lose of control. This allows for the driver to have the three wheel motorcycles and the safety and stability all in one neat package. Because of this three wheel motorcycles design, there is more space for storage and there is better balance when adding more accessories. Just like two wheel motorcycles, designs can be added and the same accessories added to traditional motorcycles can be added to three wheel motorcycles. This includes graphics and heating elements as well. Three wheel motorcycles can be just as fun as two wheeled ones.
3. Unique look.
While the traditional trike or three wheel motorcycles are single wheel in the front with a double wheel in the back, many manufacturers are opting for a more unique design with two wheels in front and the single wheel in the back. This new look is unique and unique means desirable. One of the newest is the Spyder. These are three wheel motorcycles and they have the reverse trike look with the double wheel in back. Apparently the new three wheel motorcycles have been around a long time, but with their unique look and variety or colors and wheel positions, it is making them a very desirable motorcycle on the market.
Essentiality of Men’s Motorcycle honda windshields
Essentiality of Men’s Motorcycle Gloves: There are plenty of choices when it comes to buying men’s motorcycle gloves. The pair of gloves that you choose depends upon your personal preferences and style which means that some motorcycle riders prefer to wear half fingered gloves while others like to provided full protection to their hands with full fingered gloves. There are negatives and positives to both types of gloves: half fingered gloves look more stylish and sporty and give you a firmer grip of the handles but they do not protect your fingers in case you meet an accident on the road. While full fingered gloves provide full protection to your hands but give you a loose grip on the handle.
You must have noticed that a majority of guys who ride motorcycles without gloves are unfortunate enough to have their palms take the brunt of an eventual spill throughout their lives. Very often, even if you are riding at an average speed, spills take place and your reflex action forces your palms to go down on the road and thus protect the rest of your body. Therefore, your palms become the major focus of the accident and therefore you need gloves to protect them from any unfortunate event. Full finger gloves offer additional protection to your hands and are a favorite among sport bikes riders. There are wide choices around the market that not only provide you functional value and protection but also take care to cater to your demanding aspirations of style. http://www.idealhere.com
Perforated men’s motorcycle gloves are one of the best types of gloves that are ideal to be worn while riding during warm weather. If you are living in an area where winters are shorts and rest part of the years are warm, then perforated gloves are ideal for you. You can wear them not only while riding a motor cycle but also casually on different occasions. Apart from being stylish and trendy, these gloves do not appear to be too flashy. Track gloves are designed in such a way that they provide maximum protection to the motorcycle riders in case of an accident or spill. Apart from the ultimate protection, these gloves also provide you amazing style statement and glamorous look. Reinforced palms and knuckles protection are most relevant and seams are reinforced well to ensure that these gloves stay in one piece only during extreme pressure at the time of an accident. http://www.idealhere.com/wholesale-Windshield_c350
Though you want to wear men’s motorcycle gloves or not while riding a motorcycle is entirely your personal choice, you must know that most of the bikers prefer to wear gloves on their hands while biking. This is not only to protect them during an accident but also because skin of the hands tends to get darker due to the heat produced by motorcycle’s engine and gloves save the hands from this factor. Choosing the motorcycle gloves largely depends upon your personal preferences, budget and style but whatever type of gloves you choose, it should be made up of good quality material and protect your hands from any kind of tough conditions.

How to Have a Productive Shopping Session with a Motorcycle Trader
How to Have a Productive Shopping Session with a Motorcycle Trader
By Max Manroe
The entire buying process of motorcycles can be quite complicated. Follow the tips below to avoid making costly mistakes when shopping for motorcycles and make efficient use of your time.
1. Starting Your Reasons and Expectations – If you don’t have any particular motorcycle in mind and you don’t want to listen to the motorcycle trader describe all his products, you can cut to the chase by explaining to the motorcycle trader your reasons for buying and any expectations you may have. From these, a good motorcycle trader will be able to narrow your choices considerably.
2. Price Range – Don’t be too shy to inform your motorcycle trader about your budget. If possible, provide your motorcycle trader with a definite price range so that he’ll have something to work with. From there, he’ll be able to make suggestions about motorcycle models that will best be able to give your money’s worth.
3. Accessories – If you’re interested in purchasing motorcycle accessories as well, it’s best that you purchase them from the same motorcycle trader who sold you the motorcycle unit because this will allow you to enjoy greater discounts due to making bulk purchases. Inform your motorcycle trader of whether you’re interested in purchasing motorcycle accessories for appearance or to gain better protection when riding your motorcycle.
4. Lessons and Licenses – Small or family-owned shops usually offer motorcycle-related services to their customers. If your motorcycle trader falls under this category, you could also ask him for help regarding motorcycle lessons and obtaining a driver’s license so you can use your motorcycle on the road.
5. Insurance – Motorcycle traders may also sell motorcycle insurance as well. If this is true in your case, purchase insurance from the same trader who’s selling you the unit and accessories so you can obtain even better discounts. Carefully review the features of each type of insurance policy presented to you and make your choice depending on the frequency you’ll be using your motorcycle and your budget.
6. Payment Method – Ask your motorcycle trader what types of payment methods he’s accepting. If you’re in need of financing, some motorcycle traders offer this as well. Make sure of course that you have the necessary documents with you before initiating talk with your motorcycle trader to save on time.
7. Shipping Method – Lastly, discuss with your motorcycle trader what shipping method he’s able to offer you. This is especially important if you won’t be able to drive your newly bought motorcycle to home.
You can accomplish all these in just one meeting and ensure that you’ll go home with the ideal motorcycle unit.
